I was one of the kids that Mrs. Razus used to cross at 46th & Harrison on my way to and from Melton School. It was obvious she loved her job and she always had a smile on her face. I ran into her a couple of times in the last several years and she still had that same happy attitude. She said she was surprised that I still remembered her. She was simply too nice to forget. My condolences to the family.
Peggy Fralinger left a message on June 1, 2010:
To the family of Helen Razus my deepest sympathies from Peggy Sgouros Fralinger. I remember when I was nineteen Carrie Halaschak and I decided to dress up as old men and go trick or treating. What a shock it was to your mom when we told her who we were!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Barbara I was sorry to see in the paper the passing of your mother. Helen was such a delightful person and so pleasant no matter how bad she felt when she came to the office to see Dr. Gingerich. She brignten my day everyday she came in. She was a very special person. Love & prayers to the family. Sandy (Former DR. Gingerich office employee.)

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to each and everyone of you. Please allow me to share one of my favorite PRAYERS at this time. A PRAYER for the ONE WHO IS LEFT LORD the trouble about life just now is that I seem to have all things which dont matter and to have lost all the things which do matter. I have life I have enough money to live on: I have plenty to occupy me: but I am alone and sometimes I feel that nothing can make up for that. LORD compel me to see the meaning of my faith. Make me to realize that I have a hope as well as a memory and the unseen cloud of witnesses is around me that YOU meant it when YOU said that YOU would always be with me and make me to realize that as long as YOU leave me here there is something that I am meant to do and in doing it help me to find the comfort and the courage that I need to go on.
