Helen M. Kvarta

Our loving mother, Helen Kvarta nee Seibal, age 82, of Hebron, IN, was called home to the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2010. Helen is survived by her daughter; Mary John Clifton Sullivan, son; Andrew Lesa Kvarta, 5 grandchildren; Eric, Ryan, Ashley, Brennan and Alisa, 4 sisters; Mary Virga, Ann Jack Rubino, Angie Dougherty and Dorothy Jansen; 1 brother, Albert Nancy Seibal; sister-in-law, Nancy Seibal, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andy; 4 brothers, Anthony, Nick, Pete and Henry Seibal. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 509 W. Division Rd, Valparaiso, IN. with Fr. Doug Mayer officiating. Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 10:00 DIRECTLY at the church. Helen was a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Post Office in Merrillville. She was an Army veteran and a volunteer for VNA in Valparaiso. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Center Ring Clowns, Senior Sounds of Music, Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #170 and the New Horizons Singles.
