HELEN M. KAZWELL (nee GEETING) age 83 of Crown Point formerly of Cedar Lake passed away Tuesday March 9 2010. Survived by five children: Dr. Richard (Marilyn) Kazwell of Crown Point Cynthia Carstens of Florida Barbara (Dr. Carl) Hash of Wisconsin Dr. Mary Catherine (Dale Nadon) Kazwell of Florida Dr. John (Janet) Kazwell of Iowa eight grandchildren: Sarah (Daniel) Vicari Ben Carstens Douglas Carstens and Courtney Carstens Meghan Hash Emilie Hash Jack Kazwell Anna Kazwell sister Barbara (late Thom) Wertenberger of Wabash Indiana. Preceded in death by husband Dr. Albert Kazwell son William Kazwell parents Alfred and Trula Geeting. Helen was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church Crown Point. She was a member of Pi Epsilon Kappa Catholic Sorority Cedar Lake Junior Womens Club Ladies Dental Auxiliary of NW Indiana and Red Hat Society. Helen graduated from Florida Southern College with a Liberal Arts degree. She was an avid Bridge player enjoyed cooking and formed a gourmet club. Helen was the devoted wife of Albert for 63 years and was a loving mother and grandmother. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231) Crown Point Saturday March 13 2010 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. with prayers at Pruzin & Little Chapel and 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Catholic Church 321 Joliet Street Crown Point with Rev. Patrick Kalich officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Schererville.

Dear Kazwell Family I am saddened to learn of the news of the passing of your mother whom I adored. She was always extremely warm and kind to me when I was growing up and I will always hold a special place for her in my heart. Mary Ann and I send our deepest condolences to your entire family at this difficult time. with love George and Mary Ann

To lose both of your parents in such a short time span is tragic. My family and I send our deepest sympathy. I remember your Mom when we were in Jr. High and High School and she was a truly wonderful lady. Please take care. Stan Michniewicz asked me to send his condolences also.
