HELEN M. GONSIOROWSKI, age 96 of Louisville; formerly longtime resident of Merrillville, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
She is survived by daughter, Elayne (late Howard) Winter; son, Ted T. (Claudette) Gonsiorowski; three grandchildren, Christine (David) Gmys, Caryn (Mark) Wright and Connie (Karl) Loepke; five great-grandchildren, Margaret and Harry Wright, Gavin Gmys and Owen and Emma Loepke. Preceded in death by husband, Ted A. Gonsiorowski.
Helen was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church where she was very active in the parish as well as the choir and women’s guild.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville, on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, June 13, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 a.m. from St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 801 W. 73rd Ave., Merrillville, with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.
