Helen A. O'Brien nee Rouhselange age 89 of Crown Point, IN passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at her home. She is survived by her Children: Timothy O'Brien of Phoenix, AZ Thomas Sue O'Brien and Nancy Steven Wells both of Crown Point Trent O'Brien of Phoenix, AZ Maureen O'Brien of Crown Point Grandchildren: Elizabeth Solazzo, Shannon Besedick, Daniel O'Brien, Katie O'Brien, Sandra Petee, Chad Sarnicki, Kristine Wells, Daniel Wells, Casey O'Brien, Matthew O'Brien and Lisa Miller Daughters-in-law: Karen O'Brien of Phoenix, AZ Hildegarde Kyes of Marco Island, FL 9 Great Grandchildren Sisters: Marie Kash of Elkhart, IN, Lyra James Kennedy of Crown Point, Irene Bjorklund of Phoenix, AZ, Joan Polzin of Burt, MI and Janis Jon Hendrix of Muncie, IN Brothers: Gilbert Ann Rouhselange of Homosassa, Fl, James Marianne Rouhselange of Crystal River, FL Sister-in-law: Alberta O'Brien of Desplaines, IL Preceded in death by her Husband: Wilbur and sons Terrence O'Brien and Tyler “Pat” O'Brien Funeral Prayers will be said on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 9:15 AM at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION at 606 E. 113th Ave Crown Point, IN followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St. Crown Point, IN with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN Visitation will be at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, Crown Point on Monday, July 6, 2009 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM Mrs. O'Brien was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and St. Mary's Church Choir. She also belonged to the Lake County Museum Foundation, AARP and she was a volunteer with the St. Anthony Auxiliary. Helen's charity work was with the Beautitudes Campus of Care Auxiliary in Phoenix, AZ and St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank in Phoenix. She was also a member of the church choir at Christ the King Church in Phoenix, AZ. Memorials may be given to the Lake County Museum Foundation and St. Anthony Hospice.
