Harriet B. Kolczak

HARRIET B. KOLCZAK age 95 of River Forest IL formerly of Gary IN passed away Thursday March 25 2010. She is survived by three children: Joan (Richard) Hank of River Forest IL Thaddeus Kolczak of AZ Theresa (Joseph) Korus of DeMotte six grandchildren who dearly loved her: Diane (Peter) Parenti Barbara (Gary) Rambousek Stacy (Greg) Hamilton Karen (Neal) Kerr Michael Korus Laura (Daniel) Brown six great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1977. Harriet was a member of PWA Lodge 815 past financial secretary of PRCUA Lodge 499 and Silver Bell Club PNA Lodge 2365. Harriet loved doing craft work. For many years she belonged to the Heritage Quilters Group in Crown Point and attended craft meetings at the Pruzin Center in Merrillville. Her family will always treasure the variety of crafts hand-made especially for them. She was a graduate of Froebel High School class of 1933. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service6360 Broadway Merrillville on Saturday April 10 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Services will follow promptly at 10:30 with prayers at Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 11:00 at Our Lady of Czestochowa. Services to conclude at the church. After cremation private interment at Calvary Cemetery Portage. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
