Harold G. Peters, age 76, of Michigan City, died Thursday, January 21 at Golden Living Center, LaPorte. There will be no services. Cremation will take place. He was born February 3, 1933 in Michigan City to Edward and Florence Peters, both of whom preceded him in death. In 1974 he married Arline E. Stibbs, she survives in LaPorte. Also surviving is his step-daughter Rebecca (William) Clemons of Mishawaka, sister Louise Flotow and cousin Dale Peters of Michigan City. He was preceded in death by his brother John Peters. Harold had been a welder with the South Shore railroad until his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Duneland Woodcarvers. He liked fishing, boating and spending time with his family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
