GRACE PARDUHN, age 85 of South Bend, formerly of Portage, passed away April 20, 2015. She is survived by three sons: Wayne (Elaine) Parduhn, Ronald (Jacque) Parduhn, and Loren (Margie) Parduhn; daughter, Gail (late Gene) Hillgoth; twelve grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Arnold. Grace worked as a door greeter at Wal-Mart in Portage, as a line worker for the Anderson Co. in Gary, as a manager at Kleenway Laundromat in Lake Station, and as a cashier at Montgomery Ward in the Village. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 12:00 Noon from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2447 Putnam St., Lake Station, with Rev. David Kime officiating. Cremation to follow. At rest, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.

Loren, Margie and Family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

May God give you all comfort during this difficult time of Aunt Graces' passing. Every memory I have of her is sweet...always kind and smiling!

We were sad to hear of Grace's passing. Although our Dad and Grace, brother and sister, were separated when they were young, the fondness he had for her was evident when they talked. Grace was his protector and for that, we are thankful.

So sorry for your loss. Aunt Grace was a very sweet lady. I remember talking to her as a greeter at Wal-mart in Portage when I was there visiting Terri and Mom. May God send comfort to the family at this difficult time.
