Thinking of all of you who loved Grace as you head into the next few days of remembrances and good-byes to one of the truly good people I have known, cousin Grace. Although I cannot be there in body, I will be there in mind and heart. ❤️

Grace, I think about you everyday. I’m so blessed to have known you, to care for you, be your friend, advocate and your nurse for years. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have adopted a second family like yours, I love them and give all the thanks to you. Thank you for treating my son and I like your own grandchildren, and motivating me to be the best mommy. We always talked about the day you go home to Joe & share an endless supply of McDonald’s. If you know, you know! You helped shape me into who I am today. JJ & I love you and will keep you in our hearts forever.

Grace was my childhood and high school best friend. We did everything together. When she moved to Chicago, my husband and I went to see her.. my heart is so sad we lost her. My prayers for you girls and family are in my heart. God bless you. Nancy Smith Boyer
Gail Golden left a message on February 28, 2024:
Grace was my cousin, sometimes babysitter, and lifetime heroine. I admired her so much for the way she lived her life and loved her family. She was a beautiful human being both inside and out. Although I seldom saw Grace as adults, there was something very reassuring to know that she was a presence in this world. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends as we find comfort with each other and in our memories of Grace. A donation to MS will be made in her memory.
