Gordon J. McQuen, age 62, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Gordon is survived by his daughter, Gayle McQuen; brother, Mark McQuen; nieces: Shawn, Samantha (Brandon) and Mekaela; nephews: Leonard and Brandon; many cousins; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many loving friends.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Carole McQuen; and brother, Leonard McQuen II.

Gordon was a laborer for Local 41 in Hammond for 25 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Gordon enjoyed boating and fishing and loved having family BBQ’s cooking his famous ribs. He loved playing the lotto. Gordon had a love for all sports but his passion was Notre Dame football. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddog Fred.

Friends may visit with the family to celebrate Gordon’s life on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
