GERALD JERRYFAGE age 67 of Valparaiso passed away Monday February 2 2009.Survived by his loving wife of 44 years Jeanette (nee Giannini) Fage daughters: Gina (Jon) M. Scott of Valparaiso Tricia A. Fage of Three Oaks MI his most precious grandson Matthew Jon Scott brother George (Marie) Fage of Munster sister Genevieve Kuehl of Munster brother-in-law Peter (Darlene) Giannini of Merrillville many nieces and nephews aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by his parents George and Mary (nee Niksich) Fage.Jerry was born in Gary IN and attended the Merrillville schools and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. He was a businessman all of his life who managed then owned and operated gasoline stations in Gary Merrillville and Valparaiso. In 1973 he purchased Camburn Oil Co. Inc a petroleum distributor in Three Oaks MI and was the president and CEO. He also built Southwestern Pride Car Wash in Three Oaks. Upon selling these enterprises he returned to his Indiana roots in Valparaiso. He purchased the Big Dipper Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop in Wanatah and worked for several years for his brother-in-law Giannini Const Inc. He then purchased Triple E Distributors and retired from there. After his retirement he worked for several months for Panera Bread which he really enjoyed.Jerry is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He is a 4th Degree member of Fr. Sorin Assembly and a 3rd Degree member of K of C Council 7473 Valparaiso. He was a past Grand Knight of Our Lady of Fatima Council 4589 Three Oaks MI. He was a member of the Lions Club and Business Association Three Oaks MI. He will be greatly missed by family and all whose lives he touched.Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Prayer service at 2:00 p.m. K of C Honor Guard will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday February 9 2009 at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 509 W. Division Rd. Valparaiso with Rev. Lawrence Heeg officiating. There will be one-half hour of visitation at church prior to service. Services to conclude at the church.
