GEORGE A. HORVATH age 88 of Hebron formerly of Gary passed away Tuesday June 10 2008. Survived by two sons: Anthony (late Barbara) Horvath of Wyoming and Stanley (Patricia) Horvath of Porter 6 grandchildren: Charles Horvath Michelle (Robin) Rhodes Jeanette Horvath Kelley (George) Muntean Jamie (Matt) Kingsley & Stan Horvath many great grandchildren & God children brother Carl (Lynn) Horvath of Florida. Preceded in death by wife Lillian brothers John & Thomas Horvath sister Norma Tassone. Mr. Horvath was a member of St. Helens Catholic Church a WW II Army veteran and member of American Legion Post #207 & V.F.W. #5365. George was a retired charging car operator at Gary Works U.S. Steel with 35 years of service and a former maintenance man for Methodist Hospital-Southlake. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Friday from 2-8 P.M. with Legion service at 4:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 14 2008 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY from St. Helen Catholic Church (302 N. Madison St. Hebron) with Rev. Derrick Dudash officiating. Visitation at church prior to mass. At rest Ridgelawn Cemetery.
