FRED J. TOKARCHUCK JR. age 81 of Portage formerly of Gary passed away Tuesday March 23 2010. Survived by his wife of 60 years Ida son Fred Tokarchuck III of Portage daughter Doreen (Kenneth) Young of Portage two grandchildren: Fred (Allison) Tokarchuck of FL Nick Young of Portage sister Florence Manion of MI two sisters-in-law: Rose Bombardo of Portage Alvera Tokarchuk of Merrillville many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson Jason Tokarchuck parents Fred and Mary Tokarchuck Sr. brother Eddie Tokarchuck. Fred was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church Portage. He was a Gold Card member of the Gary Sportsmen Club. Fred was a graduate of Tolleston High School Class of 1948. and was retired from the Gas Department of Northern Indiana Public Service Co. with 28 years of service. He was a lifelong White Sox Fan. Fred was a humorous man and had a big heart for all. Private services were held for the family. Arrangements by Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service Portage.
