FLORENCE (ADAMS) TUFFANELLI (nee Zachocki) age 94 of Hobart passed away Friday March 20 2009. Survived by 3 children: Richard (Mary) Adams of MI Dolores (Tom) Carlson of TN and Cynthia (Victor) Goodman of Hobart 13 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren brother Stephen (Lorraine) Zachocki of Griffith sister Theresa Durkovic of AZ. Preceded in death by husbands Van Adams & Fred Tuffanelli daughter Marlene Hamilton grandson Bruce Carlson and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Tuffanelli was a member of Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church and the Blessed Sacrament Society. She was a life member of the Vivian Society of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1152 and a member of the Silver Bell Club PNA Lodge #2365. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Monday from 2-8 P.M. with a Silver Bell service at 4:30 P.M. Vivian Society service at 6:00 P.M. & prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 24 2009 at 9:30 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 A.M. from Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church (269 W. 57th Ave. Merrillville) with Very Rev. Edward Meus officiating. At rest Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City IL.

Aunty Sissy Im so very sorry to hear about Aunty Florence passing she had a long and fruitful life. As a child I remember her when we were kids and went up for a vacation to her place in wisconsin. Florence was a Mom to me during my high school friendship with her daughter Cindy. She made all of the head pieces for each bridesmaid for my wedding. I remember her working in the shop on Commerical Ave. in South Chicago so many years ago. Florence was a wonderful dear woman. I know that she is in peace and joy in heaven.
