FERN V. DURBIN age 95 of Mitchell IN formerly of Merrillville passed away Sunday May 9 2010. Survived by two daughters: Martha (late Timothy) Berkery Jr. of Bollingbrook IL Carol (Dr. C. Douglas) Weir of Mitchell IN six grandchildren: Timothy (Kari) Berkery Steven Berkery Brian (Lisa) Berkery Lauren Eloise Victoria Weir two great granddaughters: Rebecca and Morgan Berkery two brothers: Kent (Joan) Wicks Lloyd (Fran) Wicks sister June (late Verle) Johnson many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Albert three brothers: Earl Gale and Noel Wicks. Fern was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church Merrillville. She was a R.N. With Cook County Hospital and Methodist Hospital – Northlake Gary for many years. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Saturday May 15 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow promptly at 11:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel.
