Evelyn Fox nee Henson, age 88, of Hebron/Demotte, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Chicagoland Christian Village in Crown Point, IN. She is survived by 3 children: Roger Joyce Fox, Angela Fox and Virginia Fox; 4 grandchildren: Roger Jr. and Jim Darla Fox, Dan Shawna Shouse and Russ Bridget Shouse; 5 great-grandchildren: Bryce, Derick, Jessica, Natalie, and Clayton; brother: Clayton Henson Jr.; sister: Sally Simic-Auguano; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends: Jim & Peg Shouse. Preceded in death by parents: Clayton & Effie nee Johnson Henson; husband: Alvin Fox, daughter: Linda Shouse, sisters: Marie Wiltfang, Alice Kaiser, Dorothy Rizzo and brother: Harold “Dutch” Henson. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Christian Church of Hebron, 202 E. Sigler St., Hebron, IN with Chris Shrum as officiating minister. Interment at Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Visitation will be held at the Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main, Hebron, IN on Friday, February 20, 2009 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday DIRECTLY at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Mrs. Fox was a member of the Christian Church of Hebron, was chairwoman of the Fellowship Committee for many years and for 22 years baked pies for The Country Kitchen Restaurant in Hebron, IN. Memorials may be given to the Chapel Fund at Chicagoland Christian Village, 6685 E. 117th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 or to the Parsonage Fund at Christian Church of Hebron.
