Survived by wife of 41 years Anna 3 step children: Joseph Nicholson of GA David (Cindy) Nicholson of Moline IL Annette (Jim) Schuster of Wheeler IN 5 step grandchildren: Brian (Michelle) Ashby of Chesterton Jeff Ashby of South Haven Crissy (Brian) McWilliams of Portage Casandra (George) Kidd of Salt Creek Commons Jamie Schuster of Salt Creek Commons step great- grandchildren: Brandon Ashby and Corrina Kidd sister Betty Prentiss of OR. Eugene was a blast furnace operator for U.S. Steel Gary Works with 40 years of service and a former member of the Hobart Moose Lodge. Private services were held for the family. Arrangements by Pruzin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Services.
