Eugene C. Iwinski, age 83, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Dalton, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point, IN. He is survived by 3 children, Dave Valerie Iwinski of Arizona, Dennis Fiancee' Lorrie Bigbie Iwinski of Lakes of the Four Seasons, and Debbie Iwinski of Sauk Village, IL, grandchildren, Marie, Heather, Melissa, Ryan and Christine, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Hank Iwinski of Schererville, IN. Preceded in death by wife, Dolores. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN with Rev. Mark Pavlina officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Mr. Iwinski was retired from Verson All Steel Press Company in Chicago, IL with 44 years of service, was a Marine Corp Veteran serving during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Fred Schmidt Post 20 in Crown Point, IN.
