ETHEL M. BODE age 92 of Merrillville passed away Sunday April 5 2009. Survived by her husband of 72 years Walter four children: Walter (Karen) Bode Jr. of Iowa James (late Mary) Bode of Griffith Janice (Paul) Guernsey of Crown Point David (Joyce) Bode of Crown Point ten grandchildren 15 great grandchildren one great-great grandson. Preceded in death by parents Helmer and Dena Brusven three sisters: Louise LeGette Dorothy Seitzinger and Hazel Nelson grandson Brian Bode. Ethel was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church Merrillville. She was a former member of St. Johns Lutheran Church Tolleston. Her family was her life and she will be missed. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Wednesday April 8 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday April 9 2009 at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY from Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church 7950 Marshall St. Merrillville with Rev. Robert Hall officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Schererville. Visitation at the church hour prior to service.
