Ethel J. Hudak (Nee Ivanyisky), age 90 of LaPorte, formerly of Merrillville, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
She is survived by one daughter: Susan (late Ralph) Grillo; two sons: Tim (Mary) Hudak and Wayne Hudak; sister; Elizabeth (Louis) Bordok; two brothers: Steve (late Beryl) Ivanyisky and Mike (Mary) Ivanyisky; five grandsons: David Hudak, Eric (Kristen) Hudak, Bryan Hudak, Ryan (Amanda) Hudak, and Kyle Hudak; and two great-grandsons: Liam and Henry. Ethel is preceeded in death by husband Mike Hudak and fiance Pat Amore.
Mrs. Hudak was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was a seamstress in the area for many years.
Family and friends may call on Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Tuesday May 1, 2018 from 3:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service taking place at 6:30 PM. Funeral services will take place Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 9:30 AM from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 AM from Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (5885 Harrison St, Merrillville) with Rev. James Meade officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.
