Enid A. Leeson

Enid Ann Leeson, age 81, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus in Merrillville, IN. She is survived by her son, Ricky J. Leeson of Hebron, IN, grandson, Michael Sherron of Arizona, 1 brother, 5 sisters, son-in-law, Rick Greenberg, 3 step-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Leeson, son, John R. Leeson Jr., and daughter, Cindy Jo. A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM Directly at the Calumet Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 2305 W. 73rd Ave., Merrillville, IN. Enid was born in Mosinee, WI on March 25, 1928 to Earl J. and Ethel F. Fischer and was a graduate of Gary Edison Class of 1945. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for 53 years and was active in the Peace and Joy Circle. Enid was an L.C.A.R. Bridges founding parent, a participating member of the Share Foundation for the handicapped, a volunteer at Wittenberg Lutheran Manor in Crown Point, IN for over 17 years and was an active member of the Carpenter Retirees Club of Hobart, IN.
