Dee & Tom Flanigan left a message on June 21, 2009:
What a SHOCK to get the news of Aunt Enid's passing because she was so full of life, feisty as ever, and so very active, always helping and volunteering her time and help to those around her. She, Uncle Jack, Johnny, Ricky, and Cindy are all very big inspirations in our family members lives with the strength and bravery they showed all of us and their ability to endure and get through the tragedies they had occur during their lives. She will be missed very much by all of us. Before, during, and after the service yesterday for Aunt Enid, I was thinking that in hard times which she had more than her share that there were three very important things she had learned: She was stronger than she ever imagined, Jesus was closer to her than she ever realized, and she was loved and admired more than she ever knew. Rest in peace Aunt Enid. Love you, Dee & Tom

I am so sorry to hear about Enid's passing. She helped pattern my Kathy when we were just starting with the Institutes of Human Potential in 1966. I remember they patterned Ricky also. Enid was such a sparkplug. The last time I saw her was in 2002 when she was volunteering at Wittenberg. She was such a sweetie.
