Survived by daughter, Carol Polomchak; son, Dale (Carolyn) Polomchak; two grandchildren: Mike (Michelle) Rees, Kristie (Zach) Pyles; four great-grandsons: Cole, Brody, and Gavin Rees, and Lincoln Pyles. Betty was a life-long member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Horace Mann High School. Betty was a retired Claims Deputy for the State of Indiana Unemployment. She loved traveling and was a member of St. Anthony Medical Center Auxiliary.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. St. Anthony Auxiliary service at 4:00 pm, Rosary at 4:30 pm, and Parastas service will be at 5:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY from St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 557 W. 57th Ave., Merrillville with Rev. Michael Evanick officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
