ELIZABETH BETTYP. HARVEY age 89 of Merrillville passed away Tuesday June 8 2010. Survived by best friend Edward Boer Jr. of Merrillville brother William Puskar of West Virginia many nieces nephews great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by husband Arthur parents Joseph & Elizabeth Puskar 2 brothers: Joe and John Puskar and 6 sisters: Agnes & Mary Puskar Julia Seals Helen McLain Margaret Adams & Anne ONeill. Mrs. Harvey was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She retired from U.S. Steel as a car clerk with 40 years of service. Betty was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #207 Local #1014 and the Northwest Indiana Retirees Club. Betty loved to watch baseball especially the St. Louis Cardinals and travel. Funeral services will be Saturday June 12 2010 at 9:30 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 A.M. from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (5885 Harrison St. Merrillville) with Rev. Roy Beeching officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
