Mary Therese Fields left a message on April 9, 2020:
I am sorry for the loss of your mom. I believe my mom, Evelyn Boyan was her cousin? I remember my mom talking about Liz and her giving my mom pictures and stories of the family. I was wondering, when this whole pandemic is over could I call you and come visit, just to see if you have any more old pictures of the family or stories. I would love to have copies of anything pertaining to them. Thank you, and again, my condolences to your family.

Liz is a treasured friend who will always be remembered. She joined our weekly prayer group when it first organized some years back and she was there praying just weeks ago. She was an inspiration to us all with her devout prayer life and fortitude. Most especially, the kindness she showed in reaching out to take your hand and ask how you are doing in her concern for you was so heartwarming and encouraging. It was a joy to know her and get to visit with our dear friend, who called herself "The Centurian" after her wonderful 100th birthday so lovingly and beautifully celebrated by her family with everyone. My deepest sympathy to John who gave such loving care of his Mother and all the family.
