To the entire Jackson family, you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. Your mom (gma, etc!) was so dear to my heart. I just loved her spirit and sense of humor. She brought joy to my heart and a smile to my face every time I saw her. A few years ago when I was staying in Michigan City for a couple of months during the winter people would ask me what I did up there and I told them... "I hang out with my girlfriend Betty!" She was truly my friend and I feel blessed to have been in her company. I am so glad I was able to see her again this past summer. Love and blessings, kelly sheehan

What a wonderful lady she was! We were one of her first passengers on the yellow bus. My dad was the bus mechanic and when he heard a lady had been hired, he shook his head. Then he found out it was Aunt Betty, someone he played with as a kid, a neighborhood farm girl, and all was well. He said she could drive as well as any man maybe better. Our families have had a long history, from Crockery to Spring Lake Presbyterian, what fond memories. Aunt Betty will be missed by many. May God hold you in his hand at the difficult time. Love, The Poulin's

We loved "Aunt Betty"! She had the greatest spirit! She was always a faithful member of the Chancel Choir at SL Presbyterian Church and encouraged her boys to sing in our various choirs as well. Those piano and Organ duets we used to play were great and we had such a good and fun time rehearsing them too. She will always be remembered with love and appreciation! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.We fondly recall her often used greeting..."Hi Kid!" Love, Claire and Greg Bryson

I knew Betty when I worked Security at Lighthouse Place from 1995-97. I became very fond of Betty because she reminded me so much of my grandmother. Betty was unfailingly polite and the depth of her compassion was extraordinary. Betty loved her family dearly. She always had a twinkle in her eye, but when she spoke of her family, they took on an extra sparkle. When I was on duty at the mall, I would ocassionly hop on the trolley. My excuse was to get from one end of the mall to the other sooner, but the reality was that I could never resist spending a few minutes with Betty. She was indeed a very special person. I am better for having known her and am priveleged to have called her my friend. May Almighty God comfort you in you grief and may the memories Betty left bring a smile to your face.
