Eleanore R. Reppert, age 95, of Michigan City, died Monday, April 12 at the Arbors of Michigan City. The service will be held Thursday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Carlisle funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Mrs. Reppert was born July 29, 1914 in Chicago to Andrew and Rosa (Roth) Laure, both of whom preceded her in death. On February 17, 1936 in Mishawaka, she married Robert C. Reppert, he passed away Sept 29, 1975. Surviving are her daughters Nancy (Gerald) Kissinger and Roberta Snyder, both of Michigan City; grandchildren Sharon Loos, Kevin (Karen) Kissinger, Cindy Gesse, Nancy (Gary) Radoch, Mike Barkley, Laure (Greg) Poulin and Robert (Julie) Barkley; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and brother George Laure of Kalamazoo, MI Mrs. Reppert had been the former secretary of the parking meter department for Michigan City under Joe LaRocco. She was former president and member of the School Board from 1951-1960, former member of the Vivians and the Michigan City Democratic Club, and a member of the Senior Center.
