Eleanor M. Marjanian

ELEANOR M. (nee BABAGANIAN) MARJANIAN age 76 of Merrillville passed away at home Thursday June 12 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband John two brothers Dave and Art three sisters-in-law: Margaret Benjamin Yeran Davitian Inez Demakis. She is survived by two sons: Jon Marjanian of Merrillville and Jay Marjanian of Orlando FL three sisters-in-law: Anne Babaganian of Merrillville Anita (Charles) Urban of Hebron Roz (late Don) Howell of Indianapolis brother-in-law George (late Pat) Marjanian of Portage numerous nieces and nephews. Eleanor was a member of SS. Joachim & Anne Armenian Apostolic Church and SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Merrillville and was a member and past President of the Rosary Sodality. She was employed at the Lake County Surveyors Office with 17 years of service She was a graduate of Emerson High School Class of 1950 a graduate of Felt & Tarrant Business School in Chicago a former Den Mother and involved with Little League with her husband John. She liked to play Bunco travel and was an avid Cubs fan W-. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday June 21 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 5885 Harrison St. Merrillville with Rev. Dennis Teles officiating. As per request there will be no viewing. Cremation will precede the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to SS. Peter & Paul Transformation Fund. Family and friends may gather a hour before the Mass.
