Our bright star went out after 97 years. Eleanor Cecilia Condon (née Chalifoux) departed peacefully from our lives on Friday April 19, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She leaves behind 9 of her children, 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and rejoins her husband Charles Condon and our brother Brian in heaven.
Her passion was Life. Painting. Creating. Opera and all kinds of pop music. Her glass was always full and the skies always had at least some promise of sun. All of us thank God for her light that we will carry within us always.
We Love you, Mom! Charles (Kathy), David (Gail), Jenny (Richard Trainor), Edward (Karen), Peter (Ana), Brian’s wife Karen, Daniel (Christine), John (Michelle), Nellie (Ryan Neary), Joseph (Laura).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Queen of All Saints Legacy Center, located at 1725 E. Barker Ave. followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, with Father David Kime officiating.

I met Eleanor while visiting a friend at Rittenhouse. Upon first meeting her, I felt an immediate connection! I bring my dog (Andy) during my visits and Eleanor delighted in interacting with Andy. Although I only knew Eleanor for a short time, she made a positive impression on me and I will dearly miss her. God bless you and your family!

Your Mom was such a lovely creative soul. Although I never got to visit too much I always felt connected to your mom through my mom. Once I got to visit Aunt El at her house on Lake Michigan it was a very fun time. I think of all her loved ones gathering to welcome her in heaven. She is truly at peace. Sending much love during this difficult time.

She was a ray of sunshine. So pleasant and lovely. I brought her communion from Notrre Dame Parish and she was so grateful to receive the Lord, and couldn't wait to meet Him. Rest in peace Eleanor. She is happy now.
