ELEANOR A. STARR age 78 of Valparaiso formerly of Merrillville IN passed away Thursday June 4 2009. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years Donald son Dave (Jean) Starr of Chesterton daughter Donna (Jim ) Austin of Valparaiso three grandchildren: Ashley Scott and Katherine Austin nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Walter Wilusz three sisters: Mary Walker Evelyn Michalski and Lillian Rakos. Eleanor was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Church Merrillville and Womens Club. She was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m. Funeral service Monday June 8 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church 5920 Waite St. Merrillville with Rev. Michael Maginot officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Memorials preferred to St. Stephen Martyr Church.
