Edward S. Anderson

EDWARD S. ANDERSON age 79 a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana passed away Thursday March 8 2007. Survived by loving wife of 50 years Alice two sons: Edward and William Anderson both of Chicago daughter Patricia (Martin) Wille of Merrillville two sisters-in-law: Elizabeth (Ted) Rabick and Judy (late Julian) Stryczek both of Merrillville brother-in-law Frank (late Helen) Kmetz of Gary many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents step-brother Ben Kojeski mother-in-law Victoria Stryczek brother-in-law Joseph (Emily) Stryczek sister-in-law Loretta (Benny) Kusza. Mr. Anderson was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church PNA Lodge #912 and American Legion Post #207. He was a retired electrician from U.S. Steel with 38 years of service a retired employee from Pinkerton Security and an Army veteran of the Korean War having served with distinction in the 5th Regimental Combat Infantry Team. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. and American Legion Service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday March 12 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 11:00 a.m. from St. Mark Catholic Church 505 W. Ridge Rd. Gary with Rev. Myron Lowisz and Deacon Steven Zubel officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville.
