EDWARD M. CASSADAY, age 58 of Crown Point, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He is survived by parents, Earl “Ed” and Margaret Cassaday of Crown Point; two sisters: Diane Cassaday of Crown Point, Jeanne Kollak of Crown Point four nieces and nephews: Carly and Mandy Swift, Ashton and Nickolas Kollak; two great nephews: Hutton and Jett; one great niece, Meta. Preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Cassaday. Edward was a graduate of Crown Point High School, Class of 1974. He was employed by Hammond School Corporation and was a member of Painters Local #460. Edward enjoyed spending his leisure time walking the beach at Lake Michigan and was an avid fisherman. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. from Pruzin & Little Chapel with John Starr officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
