Edward Lee Rinkovsky, age 81, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Edward is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Robert) Talley; son, Andrew L. Rinkovsky; step-sons: Charles D. Werner and Jeff (Ashley) Mogan; grandchildren: Stephanie, Timothy, Chase, Josie and Ethan; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn (Bob) Faust.

Edward was preceded in death by his fiancé, Debra Howard; parents: Nicholas and Dora Rinkovsky; sister, Barbara Rinkovsky Arlet; brother: Richard Rinkovsky.

Edward served his country in the US Army and was a member of the Eagles. He retired from Swartz Welding and also worked at Ploog Engineering. Edward enjoyed race cars, was an avid NASCAR fan, riding his Harley and stock car races. He was a lifelong Crown Point resident and very active in Lake County.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN 46307, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, 2024 with John Starr officiating.

Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
