I would like to thank everyone for coming to Earl's funeral and signing the guest book here. It is nice to come back and read your words. Thank you Mr Plunk and everyone at Carlisle Funeral home. Earl was blessed with many good friends. We miss him!! Our hearts have been touched by your kindness.
I knew Earl well from Elston and he was always a fun loving guy. I am so sorry to hear he passed away My mom died mothers day 5-10-09 and I was in MC for 6 weeks taking care of her. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Susan Cappy Moore
Sue Piecuch just told me about Earl. Sad to hear but joyful to know Earl is free now sits at the feet of Jesus. My memories of Earl are not recent although Sue has kept me up to date about his life through her contact with him. The Earl I remember is from years ago at Krueger Jr Hi. I can still see him bopping on the bus scooping out someone to tease. Most of the time it was Anna Sheperson but anyone could fall victim to his fun. I believe everyone on that bus looked forward to his arrival; He woke us up, made going to school fun and showed us how to see life from a positive perspective. Then in high school weekends were an endless search for Earl at parties with Sue K. I remember Earl as an unforgettable character - full of life & surprises. Thanks God we all needed Earl. Psalm 16:7-11 the wise counsel God gives when I'm awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart. Day and night I'll stick with God; I've got a good thing going and I'm not letting go. I'm happy from the inside out, and from the outside in, I'm firmly formed. You canceled my ticket to hell - that's not my destination! Now you've got my feet on the life path, all radiant from the shining of your face. Ever since you took my hand I'm on the right way. Quoted from the "Message".

My condolences to family and friends. I knew Earl from PNC back in 88',89'. The stories he could tell to us "kids." (and they were all true!) He made us laugh, made us think, and made us thankful for our blessings... I'll never forget the summer softball team he put together with the most unlikely bunch of misfits...it was the best time... and we won the trophy!???! God bless you Earl for being such a joy and inspiration to the many "strangers you happened to meet."
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I met Earl when I was a teen. He lived across from us on 8th ST. He let us know who broke into our home. Then reacquainted at PNC and sailing with him in alittle j-boat on lake MI. I guess he was instrumental that I made it to a toga party where I met my husband Pete...It's amazing how 1 person can touch so many lives... Peace and God's blessings Francine
Till we meet again, Earl.
We are very sorry to hear about Earl. He was always a very nice and friendly person.
I met Earl during the summer of 1968 at a Memorial Park Dance. I remember thinking he was sooo cute I could hardly believe he was interested in me! He asked me for my phone number and called me soon after. We dated for a while and then went our separate ways. I will always remember Earl as my highschool "heart-throb."He was kind and sweet and always so funny making everyone laugh.I am sad that his life has ended but very happy that he was at peace with God. Bless you, Earl!Hope to see you again someday!
Debbie, my condolences are with you and your family. always your friend Joanie Sliwa
I am very sad to learn of Earls' passing. I have known him since high school. In the past few years Earl would stop by as I was sitting outside. We had some really wonderful conversations and I will miss his visits. He was so sincere.I was always amazed that he always aknowledged my mom/dad which I know he thought alot of. He is in a better place and that is a comfort. Rest In Peace Earl~~ You were a good man and will be remembered
I was a student at PUNC when Earl was also a student. I have such fond memories of him, and his marvelous sense of humor. May he rest in peace, and may God rest his soul.
The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far I could ,Oh, I kept the first for another day? yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this witha sign Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
My condolences to the Lungren family.

I knew Earl when he first worked at St. Anthony Hospital with me when I was a CNA/Unit Clerk there and I could tell by the compassion he had for people that nursing and being of service to others was his true niche' in life. Please know that my family and I are praying for you and let the memories he made and the lives he touched comfort you and make you smile again.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
