To Dustin's family, and especially his mom Lucy. We're glad we had Dustin in our lives, he was a wonderful friend! During the time he was with us here in San Jose, he became like family. Dustin was a wonderful person, and we miss him everyday! He loved life, always had a smile, and never ceased to make us laugh. We'll never forget the good times we had with him, and we pray that no one else ever forget either. Until we meet again, may the lord always smile upon you!

Lucy and Terry, Youmay not recognize my name, but I met Lucy at Lynne Spencer's last Dec., and I have known Terry ever since his dad married my sister, Lynne. I am a 1960 classmate to Dustin's aunt and uncle, JamieWold and Larry Rosenbaum. My older brother died July 8th, and I am still grieving. Thus, Lucy, I can not even begin to imagine your grief at having your son die. Although I did not personally know Dustin, from what I read in the obituary, he was a creative young man who lived the life he wished in CA. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Brian, Julie, Danielle, Derrick, George, Ginny, Pam, Mark, Alexis, Montana, Lucy and Bill: We are very sorry for your loss. Please know that you are ALL in our thoughts and our prayers during this difficult time. We pray for your strength to withstand this change that has come into your lives and for the changes that you will experience down the road. Things will never be the same, and we know that change has the potential of being very hard to endure, most of all, the very kind of change that you are experiencing right now. Dustin has undoubtedly left a gaping hole in your hearts...and he would want you to share your love, laughter and memories of him with one another and help each other through. We love you and know that God will grant you strength and comfort during this transition. And please know that we are here for you, too. In Christ's Love, Ted and Jamie Heckler
