DR. RICHARD D. KAZWELL, age 67 of Corpus Christi, TX, formerly of Crown Point and Cedar Lake, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Marilyn (nee Stilwell); daughter, Sarah (Daniel) Vicari, siblings: Cynthia Carstens, Barbara (Dr. Carl) Hash, Dr. M. Catherine Kazwell (J. Dale) Nadon, Dr. John (Janet) Kazwell; grandsons, Vincent and Lukas; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Albert and Helen (nee Geeting) Kazwell; brother, William. Richard owned and practiced dentistry at the Cedar Lake Dental Center for 40 years. He was a life member of the A.D.A., a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry. Richard served as Commodore of the Cedar Lake Yacht Club and was a member of Youche Country Club. He loved outdoor sports, including sailing, snow skiing, running, fishing, shooting sporting clays, and golfing. Cooking was his indoor passion. Patrick Kalich officiating. Services to conclude at the church. Memorials may be made in his name to the Dawn Brancheau Foundation.
