I just heard of Doug's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Doug and Denny too was such a great boyfriend in elementary school, fun fellow sax player, and true friend throughout high school. We all had such a great time. My prayers are with you all--God Bless.

I was very saddened to hear of Doug's passing. I started kindergarten with Doug & Denny and have so many great memories of growing up with the twins. After graduation I attended Ball State with Doug and we lived in the same dormitory. I moved away from the area shortly after college and lost touch with him. However, the things I will remember most about Doug are what a kind, giving and caring person he was, and what a great friend he was to me- always, and what a smile he put on so many people's faces. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss and wish to express my sincere sympathy. I teach elementary sp. ed. at Morgan and didn't really know Doug well, but occasionally saw him down on the high school end. I was unable to attend any of the funeral arrangements due to prior committments, but I wanted you to know I am deeply sorry. Sincerely, Sheila Snook

My thoughts and prayers are with the Osburn family. I was a classmate and friend. My family moved when I was in high school and we lost contact. I have many wonderful memories of us as kids and I will always cherish those days. My heart goes out to all the family.

So saddened to hear of Doug's passing. My condolences to Aunt Marjorie & Uncle Charles, and all others in the family. Losing the other half of being twins, has got to be so terrible. As a twin myself, that is just too hard to try and understand. Please know that I am really sorry for your loss. Hopefully, there are lots of good memories that will help you all through this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you...

I was saddened to hear of Doug's passing. My twin sister Bev and I never really got to know Doug & Dennis...though when we were last in Indiana we were juniors in high school, a picture was taken of Bev & Barb with Dennis & Doug on our laps. Many years later a copy of that picture showed up...mistakenly labeling me as Bev, Bev as Barb! ^_^ I wonder if that happened throughout the years with the Osburn twins! My sister and I were always the Curry twins. My thoughts & prayers are with Aunt Marjorie & Uncle Charles & family.

I met Doug when he first became a teacher and volleyball coach at Keystone Middle School in 1985. I always appreciated his love of life, his great sense of humor, and his awesome coaching ability - just to name three of many great things about him. Doug was also a great friend with whom I shared many good stories, laughs, and a few tears now and then. It was obvious from our many conversations that he really loved and appreciated his family. I lost touch with Doug when he left Indiana, and I had no idea that he had moved back. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing, and my heartfelt sympathies go out to each and every one of his family members, colleagues, and other friends. We'll miss you greatly, buddy.

My condolences go out the Osburn family. I remember Doug from when our family lived across the street from yours at the farm close to the school. Doug was several years older than me and was always nice to me. Dad was always a good friend with Doug's dad. May God watch over you all during this time, you are in my prayers.
