Dorothy L. Kill, age 87, of Indianapolis, formerly of Michigan City, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Reshan officiating. Dorothy was born March 15, 1922 in Michigan City to Henrich and Daisy (Kasube) Volksdorf, both of whom preceded her in death. On August 25, 1947 in Michigan City she married Marvin Kill who passed away August 9, 1989. Surviving is her daughter Cheryl (Gene) Wilson of Indianapolis, 2 granddaughters Kirstin Wilson, Kimberly Williams, two great-granddaughters Elizabeth and Allison Williams and nephew James Volstorf. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Volstorf. She was co-owner of Kill Office Machines in Michigan City. She had also been a secretary at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
