September 17, 1914 - December 31, 2009

Dorothea Phillips, age 95, of Hebron, IN passed away on Thursday December 31, 2009. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Phillips; granddaughter, Karen Ray Clark; 2 grandsons, Michael Clark and Steven Erin Clark; and 2 great grandchildren Kayla and Noah Clark. Preceded in death by her son, James Phillips; 2 great-grandsons, James and Christopher Clark; and 6 brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main St. Hebron, IN 46341 Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Dorothea was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Dorothea and I shared a love for The 23rd Psalm..she invited me over to visit her and then gave me many copies of her different translations of this beloved Psalm. She and I served on the Calumet District United Methodist Women's Board for 2-4 years, she was a very sweet lady, a genteel lady. And her faith and God were very important in her life. Rest well, dear friend.
