DORIS M. WEEKS age 81 a long time Crown Point resident passed away on Sunday January 1 2012. She is survived by three daughters: Carol Weeks of Crown Point Janice (Robert Barnitt) Weeks of Danville IN and Rosemary (William Willer) Weeks of Crown Point step-daughter Lauren (Al) Bruce of TN brother Eugene McLemore of TN sister Fairy Edwards of TX many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Truman and step-daughter Carrie Miller. Doris was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church a retired accountant clerk from St. Anthonys Medical Center with 20 years of service and an accounting clerk at Tech Credit Union Crown Point. She was the owner of Quarter Mile Farm and started Special Equestrians for special needs people. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service (811 E. Franciscan Crown Point) on Thursday January 5 2012 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 6 2012 at 9:30 A.M. from Pruzin & Little Chapel and 10:00 A.M. at St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W. Burrell Drive Crown Point) with Rev. James Wozniak officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Special Equestrians.
