DONALD V. MAGRUDER age 86 of Crown Point passed away Friday May 29 2009. Survived by wife Olga of 62 years 3 children: Allen (Peggy) Magruder of Florida Byron (Joyce) Magruder of Arizona & Lois Dolly(Tony) Evans of Valparaiso 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Magruder was a member former Deacon and Bible School Superintendent at the First Christian Church in Crown Point. He was a retired mechanic from Art Hill Ford and Webb Ford Dealerships and a volunteer at Wittenberg Lutheran Village with 5 years of service there. Donald was also a World War II Army veteran. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231) Crown Point on Sunday from 2-5 P.M. Funeral services will be held Monday June 1 2009 at 11:00 A.M. DIRECTLY from the First Christian Church (495 S. Indiana St. Crown Point) with Rev. David Maddack officiating. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery Crown Point. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Anthony Hospice or to the First Christian Church Crown Point.
