I just found out about Don's death. I was sorry to hear about him, and my sincere condolences go to his family. (I was a fellow IRS employee in Gary but worked in another division.) After Don retired my husband and I often saw Don at Lions' District Conventions and at NW Indiana antique shows while he was on his never-ending quest for another piece of Uhl pottery.

So sad to know I will not see that smile again. To Al, and to Donnie's family, you have our sympathy, I am so sorry we did not feel we could make the trip to pay our respects. Know that we are thinking of you and share your loss. We will miss him, too. The next Schwartz Reunion will be less fun without him there. Cousin, Roseann (Rademacher) Scott

To Family of Don Schwartz: Know that we were sadden to hear of our friends passing. On Don's visits to Huntingburg, we enjoyed reunions, ballgames and the V.F.W. together. Daughters Kim and Kaye may recall us being part of Don's 60th birthday surprise at St. Louis. Much by accident we ran into you prior to the Cards ballgame. A good time. You Have Our Sympathy. Ken & Mary Ellen Morgan
