Sorry for your loss. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have many wonderful memories of being at Don and Marilyn home. We used to meet their when Rebecca, Carissa and Martina would come to Wisconsin and spent time with us. We always enjoy our time with them. Also enjoyed the Xmas letters Don wrote and sent us. May your many wonderful memories make this time a little easier. Our sympathy, Ginny and family

Someone has pulled into our driveway, put the coffee pot on. This was a phrase called in our childhood home, who might it be, why it's Pastor. Always welcome in our homes. He shared his love of God and people everywhere he went. His infectious smile (a good thing) and always a handshake. I have as many of us do fond memories of Pastor and his family. He has knocked at God's door and is welcomed with open arms. Blessings to the family, for sharing him.

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of this truly Godly man. Pastor Weber and his dear wife, Marilyn, touched our spiritual lives in deep and profound ways and we shared a close friendship during our time at Emmanuel. We were blessed to have him baptize our only son, Dr. Gregory Patton Gilmore, when Greg was two weeks old. Pastor was always quick to get a baptism scheduled and we appreciated that! A funny story of Pastor…my hubs and I were transferred to Gabon, West Africa and I came back to Indiana to give birth to our son. Pastor Weber stopped by my mom’s house in Merrillville where I was staying. He knew I was back in town and stopped by in the evening to say hello. My mom had been playing Elvis music in honor of his birthday and it was quite loud. I was embarrassed to answer the door in my pjs with the “concert” in the background but Pastor didn’t blink an eye as to what the circumstances were. He warmly welcomed me home and made me feel at ease. He made everyone feel welcomed and loved with his gentle manner and kind smile. God has welcomed a true spiritual colonel of the faith home.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I met Pastor Weber when he returned to Emmanuel Lutheran. Both our sons were confirmed by Pastor Weber, and we hold fond memories of his time at Emmanuel. He was truly a great pastor.

What a privilege to have known Pastor Weber. I remember when he and Marilyn first came to Emmanuel Lutheran in the 50’s. My husband and I were married by him in 1973. Too many memories to list. He was always sharing the message of the Lord, showing us the way, and setting an example for us to follow. Sending my love and prayers to Marilyn and family.

May peace be with the family. The Weber family was like a second family to me. I lived close enough to walk there when Mrs Weber said it was okay Beth and I connected in fourth grade when some kids at school started making fun of her and I was in no way going to allow that to happen so she and I always hung out during recess. Pastor Weber lead me in my confirmation at Emmanuel Lutheran Church and they all played?? a huge role in who I am today. I think fondly of these memories often and hopefully the family will lean on all his wonderful teachings during this difficult time God Bless them all
