DINO A. FAVRETTO, age 85 of Merrillville, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn (nee Nuzzo) of 61 years; two daughters: Diane (Ben) Nguyen, Donna (Brian) Kirk; eight grandchildren: Joseph, Michael, Matthew, Dylan, Vincent, Carolyn, Dina, and Donovan; sister Anita Favretto; brother-in-law Frank (late Angie) Nuzzo; sister-in-law Joan (late Joseph) Cvitkovich; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by son John Favretto; parents Gino Favretto and Enrica (John) Zuccolotto.

Dino was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Ryder Council #4047 for 55 years and a member of the Bricklayers Union Local #4. Dino was also a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Friday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. with of K of C Rosary at 6:30 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Deacon Joseph Codespoti officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.
