Dianne Marie Fagan (Hershberger Henderlong), age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024, with her daughter Dawn by her side.

Dianne was born in Gary, Indiana on May 22, 1939 to Fred and Marie Fagan. A lifelong resident of Crown Point, she was very proud of the fact that her families, the Fagen’s and Henderlong’s, had lived in Crown Point for four generations.

Dianne had a vibrant personality with a beautiful smile that lit up every room. She always had a big hug for everyone she met. She dearly loved her daughters: Elizabeth and Dawn. She loved her little westie, Freddy. She was a volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital and was very active in St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point. Her father was also very important to her.

She leaves behind her two daughters: Elizbeth Coyne (Jack Renaud) and Dawn (Scott) Brdecka; two grandchildren: Michael and Sophia Brdecka; her two brothers: David and Thomas Fagen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Marie Fagen; her two sisters: Nancy Fagen (Lipke) and Sharon Evans; and her son-in-law, Jack Eldon Renaud.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN 46307 from 12:00 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 PM with Fr. Jerry Schweitzer officiating.
