Derrick Jackson, age 43, of Michigan City, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at St. Anthony Memorial Health Care Center. Services will be held Thursday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Temple A.O.H. with Elder Vincent Pryor officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service at the church. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Michigan City. Derrick was born November 24, 1965 in Michigan City to Walter and Mildred (Haynes) Jackson. His father preceded him in death, his mother survives in Michigan City. Also surviving are his twin sons Michael and Derrick Jackson, Jr of Davenport, IA. his brother Jeff Jackson, sister Lisa Jackson, and Godsisters Paulette (Dexter) Means and Keturah (Leo) Lewis, all of Michigan City, and Shantal Brown of CA. He was preceded in death by his brother Grady Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice.
