Dennis Andrew Demetrakis, age 63 of Crown Point/LOFS, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Dennis is survived by his wife Henriett “Hank” Demetrakis whom he married on March 22, 2001 after a 20 year relationship; step-son, Chad McCorkle of Merced, CA; step-daughter, Dina Brad Pierce of Wheatfield, IN; 2 loving granddaughters: Autumn and Madison Pierce of Wheatfield, IN; 1 sister, Nicki Jim Copeland of Lafayette, Louisiana. Preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas Demetrakis and Mary nee Satler Wozniak; brother and sister-in-law: Philip and Dolores Demetrakis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, with Rev. Christ Margellos officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family Friday, January 15th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
