Survived by three children: Michael (Muriene) Parkinson of Cedar Lake Cheryl (Harold) Kriss of Crown Point Mark (Gail) Parkinson of Lowell eight grandchildren: Michael W. (Susan) Parkinson of Cedar Lake John (Peggy) Parkinson of Cedar Lake Jennifer Hauber of Crown Point Cara (Paul) Voorhorst of Greenwood IN Megan (Bryon) Gearhart of Crown Point Alissa Kriss of Crown Point Chase Parkinson Callie Parkinson both of Lowell 13 great grandchildren two brothers: Larry (Shirley) Charters of Iowa Jack (Barbara) Charters of Crown Point. Preceded in death by husband David Parkinson five brothers: Delbert Bud Vincent Richard and Bobby Charters parents Andrew and Ella Charters. Deleva was a member of First Christian Church Crown Point and was a retired machine operator for Grish Bros. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231) Crown Point Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday January 21 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Rev. David Maddack officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Schererville.
