Debbie J. Willy, age 50, of Cedar Lake, IN, formerly of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her home. She is survived by her son: Jason McMahon of Cedar Lake; siblings: Bonnie Willy of Muncie, IN, Barb Bill Aiken of Kouts, IN, Bernice Ernest Cherbak of Cedar Lake, Diana JR Doffin of Crown Point, Patrick Anita Willy of Cedar Lake, Michael Jenny Willy of Crown Point, and David Willy of Crown Point; many nieces and nephews; 2 great-nieces; 2 aunts: Rose Hartman and Ruth Jon Anderson, and 3 uncles: Austin Kathy Wade, Henry Jebens and James Marilyn Wade. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dwayne and Frances and brother: Dwayne James. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN, with Fr. Dennet Jung officiating. Interment at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN. Debbie was a Navy veteran and worked at Colonial Nursing Home in Crown Point for many years and also worked at St. Anthony Nursing Home and Meals on Wheels. Debbie loved to cross-stitch and was a big collector of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
