Dawn Y. Everetts

Dawn Y. Everetts, age 61, of Michigan City, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at St. Anthony Memorial Health Care. A memorial service will he held Tuesday, March 2 at 7;00 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Everetts was born December 12, 1948 in Chicago to Burrell H. and Virginia A. (Watts) Jones. Her father preceded her in death, her mother survives in Michigan City. Also surviving is her son William B. (Kimberly) Sobolewski of Michigan City, grandchildren William A. Morrow-Sobolewski and Coty A. Sobolewski, special friends William A. Sobolewski of Michigan City, and Jon Carduct of Tamarak, FL, Larry Kelley and Patrick Howland of Michigan City, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Jones. Dawn had been self employed as a seamstress and was also a dog groomer. She enjoyed animals, especially her Doberman Pinschers and Pit Bulls. Spending time with her grandsons was so special to her. Dawn will fondly be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
