Kenneth Hon left a message on January 16, 2009:
Dear Aunt Judy, Karen and Christy, I just wanted to say what a special uncle David was to me and my family. I'll never forget picking him up for breakfast on Tuesdays and spending time with him. It seems that I was one that could always make uncle David laugh. I always knew uncle David thought the world of his family including his nephews and niece. He was a special person and will never be forgotten. I know he is in heaven now holding hands with his father, mother, and brother looking down smiling. He knows that he left a legacy that will last forever in our hearts. I love you all so much and pray that we all not only heal, but become closer to God from this horrific ordeal. Love Always, Kenny

POPS is what I called him for many years. I know when I was a part of your life you treated me like I was one of your own. I'll miss you! We all know nothing is harder than the loss of someone we love, perhaps their greater purpose is to love us from above. I believe it is true.
